The Resume Black Hole September 6, 2009

I thought I was the only one that asked the question?

With each and every resume posting, along with online e-applications, where does it go and why don’t we know it was received?

However, with sent E-mails, some email client software gives you the option to attach receipts (to prove that it was sent, delivered and/or read). For example: Microsoft Outlook. Although, Keep in Mind, NOT all recipients email software clients work to respond back (aka: Yahoo!, etc.)

But those of us who have actually spent the time to fill-out online applications and complete additional documentation, survey questions or assessment questions for that job, it is quite time-consuming.

We still should get some kind of a response via email or letter in the mail.  Preferably EMAIL (if an address was provided along in your application or Resume).  GO GREEN!!
